I'M JOY

AND WHEN I'M NOT CREATING TANGIBLE MEMORIES FOR YOUR FAMILY...

you’ll find me hunting for the next bargain and working on the next DIY project.

But I wasn’t always a Bay Area family photographer - helping families like you get the most memorable candid photos.

I used to hate almost every photo of myself and felt simply defeated.

I just wanted to capture a moment with my kids of how I really felt. While at it, I felt so miserable at my job with no fulfillment whatsoever.

I felt my talent and life experiences were going to waste and I knew there was more for me.

So, I did what any sane person would do, and quit

With no back up plan and no, erm… plan.

I finally was able to realize that “I can have photos I actually love”.  THIS was the moment where I knew I could capture the playful sweetness and essence of life through the lens.

I dove into finding a camera, recollecting all my knowledge and industry experience, and opened my virtual doors for business.

And since then, I’ve been lucky enough to help Bay Area families have beautiful, authentic stories of their families, frozen in time.

Because like me, you know there's more for you.

But making an investment is scary if you don’t have the support and guidance you need.

And that’s where I come in.

I’ll meet you so you feel like the investment was worth it. What you’re truly seeking is  peace of mind- a Bay Area family photographer who will take this weight off your shoulders, who makes the experience feel easy, natural and fun.

Raising both hands? I thought so.

I'd love to chat!

I STILL REMEMBER WHEN...

  • I waited patiently for dial up internet to connect

  • I got my first pager

  • I would read teen bop at the library

  • You could buy a Spice girl cd.

  • I wouldn’t go anywhere without my grape-flavored Lip Smacker

NOT TO BE FORWARD BUT...

SHALL WE?
